EDGAR 25.2.2 Released

The SEC has released EDGAR 25.2.2, which incorporates requirements for EDGAR Next, the SEC’s security, access, and account management improvements made to the EDGAR system. Enrollment in and compliance with EDGAR Next is now necessary to file on the EDGAR system. To be in compliance, filing entities must be enrolled in EDGAR Next by December 19, 2025, or have had their Form ID application for EDGAR access granted on or after March 24, 2025. SEC Staff to Host Roundtable on Trade-Through Prohibitions

The SEC’s Division of Trading and Markets will present a roundtable to discuss trade-through prohibitions in the National Market System stock and listed options markets. GoFiler 6.2a Now Available

Version 6.2a of GoFiler has been released. This release is in anticipation of Monday’s EDGAR Next release and will automatically switch over to the EDGAR Next system for submissions on 9/12/2025 at 10:01pm Eastern. SEC Launches New Cross-Border Task Force to Mitigate Fraud

On September 5th, the SEC announced the establishment of the Cross-Border Task Force that aims to further the Division of Enforcement’s endeavors to detect and combat cross-border fraud harming U.S. investors. The Division will direct its efforts toward companies, intermediaries, exploitative traders that try to use international borders to hinder and avoid U.S. investor protections. On September 15, 2025, enrollment in EDGAR Next becomes required in order to continue filing to the EDGAR system.
