EDGAR 25.2.2 Released

The SEC has released EDGAR 25.2.2, which incorporates requirements for EDGAR Next, the SEC’s security, access, and account management improvements made to the EDGAR system. Enrollment in and compliance with EDGAR Next is now necessary to file on the EDGAR system. To be in compliance, filing entities must be enrolled in EDGAR Next by December 19, 2025, or have had their Form ID application for EDGAR access granted on or after March 24, 2025. GoFiler 6.2a Now Available

Version 6.2a of GoFiler has been released. This release is in anticipation of Monday’s EDGAR Next release and will automatically switch over to the EDGAR Next system for submissions on 9/12/2025 at 10:01pm Eastern. GoFiler 6.2a Will Be Available for Download Later Today

Version 6.2a of GoFiler will be released later today to facilitate the transition to EDGAR Next. This release contains all of the necessary functionality to submit filings to EDGAR Next and will automatically switch to EDGAR Next mode tonight at 10:01pm Eastern. Version 6.1b of GoFiler has been released. This release corresponds to EDGAR 25.2.1.1 and contains improvements to XBRL, XDX, and Page View. SEC Issues EDGAR 25.2 Release XBRL Taxonomies Update

On June 16th, the EDGAR system was upgraded to Release 25.2, which now supports the 2025 version of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) taxonomy. The 2025 version of the IFRS taxonomy is the same taxonomy version that the International Accounting Standards Board made available on March 27, 2025. GoFiler 6.0c Now Available

Version 6.0c of GoFiler has been released. This release contains updates to some EDGAR Next functionality, as well as improvements and corrections to multiple EDGAR forms. In addition, users can now create custom XBRL templates combining known taxonomies. This update also contains multiple improvements to the Novaworks Fee Exhibit Editor (FEE). Version 6.0b of GoFiler has been released. This release contains adjustments to certain EDGAR Next functions now that EDGAR Next is live, as well as adjustments to NSS to use EDGAR Next when the transition option is checked within GoFiler.
