On September 17th, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission voted to extend the date for investment advisers to comply with the February 2024 amendments to Form PF, the confidential reporting form used by certain private fund advisers.
The Commissions have extended the compliance date from June 12, 2025 to October 1, 2026. The extension both allows time to perform a substantive assessment of Form PF pursuant to a Presidential Memorandum and take any further applicable actions, including proposing new amendments to Form PF.
