Version 6.5b of GoFiler has been released. This version contains changes and improvements for Text View, Page View, Data View, and XBRL View/XDX. This release also contains updates for Forms 13F, ATS-N, Section 16, and general EDGAR forms.
Please use the Check for Updates function to update your software to the latest version.
What’s in the Release
Text View/ASCII
– Corrected an issue using the Paste Special Text function with Excel not trimming its tab delimited buffer.
Page View and HTML
– Improved CSS validation for padding properties.
– Corrected a minor display issue with the Control Window.
– Added logic to remove superfluous keywords on border shorthand properties for initial, inherit, unset and revert.
Image View
– Improved the look-and-feel of the Draw Text dialog.
XBRL View
– Corrected an issue that would cause uncategorized facts if ECD and another SEC taxonomy with built-in presentations were used together.
– Corrected an issue that would cause labels for US-GAAP elements not to be written if the template used specialized imports.
– Updated the FND 2026 (UIT entry point) template to create custom linkbases instead of using the standard SEC schema.
XDX
– Added 2025 and 2026 taxonomy namespaces to XDX XBRL validations.
– Added ECD and CYD to IFRS taxonomies.
– Corrected an issue that could cause footnotes fail to work properly when using the OEF-RR taxonomy.
– Corrected an issue that would cause missing labels for DEI elements used with the FND-UIT taxonomy.
General EDGAR Updates
– Updated the CIK and Reporting Owner Libraries to support the new “Is Non-U.S. Address” question.
– Updated the CIK and Reporting Owner Libraries to track the Annual Confirmation Expiration Date of the CIK.
– Added the “Foreign Trading Symbol” to the Reporting Owner Library.
Form 13F and SHO Updates
– Corrected an issue that prevented the CUSIP library from properly reading the SEC CUSIP.
– Corrected an issue with importing CSV to the Information Table.
Form ATS-N Updates
– Corrected an issue that would cause proofs for ATS-N-C and ATS-N-W to show more sections than were applicable.
– Corrected erroneous fields on the proofs for ATS-N-C and ATS-N-W.
Section 16 Updates
– Updated Section 16 View to read the new library fields when retrieving data from the CIK or Reporting Owner libraries.
Data View
– Added additional case actions to the Enter and Tab key functionalities.
Technical Notes (Legato)
– Added subtypes for JSON for XBRL-JSON, XBRL-CSV and XBRL Model.
– Added improvements to the CompareString and CompareStringNoCase functions.
– Added optional font name and size parameters to the LogDisplay function.
