Version 5.10b of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains a number of improvements to XDX editing, including two new features for removing XDX engrams. Additionally, this version also contains beta features for automating the process of logging into the EDGAR System from the Help menu as well as a preview of the functionality for the new Form 24F-2 View for editing Form 24F-2NT as XML. Other changes include improvements to proofing options, reading enhanced acceptance messages, and validation for iXBRL.

New Release (5.10b) for the GoFiler Family of Products

GoFiler Complete 5.10b
General Items
– Adjusted how the software load the browser location data to allow users to set browser locations in the application settings .ini file.
– The XBRL Previewer has been updated to fully support user-managed installations of Arelle.
– Users can now direct the previewer to ignore certificates when contacting external websites.
– Users who have enabled Beta Features will now have access to the Log In to EDGAR System and Log In to Submission Status functions through a plugin that is currently available for Firefox. Support for other browser is forthcoming. Contact technical support for more information.

– Improved the enhanced acceptance messages for reporting series and class information.
– Corrected a problem with the ASCII template manager where borders were not displaying on templates.

Text View/ASCII
– Made some corrections to improve editing files that allow tab characters, such as HTML or scripts.
Page View and HTML
– Corrected an issue that could cause application instability when drag dropping HTML.
XDX
– Added the Remove XDX Engram(s) and Remove All XDX Engrams functions.
– Corrected an issue that could cause elements to be removed from presentations.
– Corrected an issue that could cause a context’s dimensions not to be added to a presentation’s properties.
– Added a warning to validation if a fact tagged as a mixed cardinal number does not contain the scaling words, such as millions or thousands.
iXBRL
– Added the Remove XDX Engram(s) and Remove All XDX Engrams functions to a new Tools pop-up menu on the iXBRL Ribbon.
– Corrected an issue with the date transform improperly failing validation.
– Improved the space and comment process on the iXBRL header code when validating iXBRL.
