SEC Publishes 2027 Draft Taxonomies for Review and Comment

On September 14, the SEC released the draft 2027 updates to its technical taxonomy design, providing an early look at the changes developed through the annual review and update process for all SEC taxonomies accepted in the EDGAR system. The draft reflects the SEC’s ongoing efforts to keep the taxonomies aligned with current reporting practices and evolving filer needs. GoFiler 6.6a Now Available

Version 6.6a of GoFiler has been released. This version corresponds to EDGAR Release 26.3 and contains changes and improvements for XBRL, including the new FND 2026q3 taxonomy, as well as updates to Form 13F and Section 16. Changes were also made to other EDGAR forms and to the proofing of most EDGAR forms to change how the software handles proofing an empty CCC field.

Labor Day

The SEC will be closed Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. The EDGAR System will not receive, process or accept filings on this day. Filings with a due date of September 7th will be due the following business day. The FERC will be closed in observation of Labor Day. eForms will accept filings submitted on September 7th. Novaworks will also be closed on September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will be offering limited email support from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday, September 4th. {expires: 2026-09-08}
