Version 5.18a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release corresponds to EDGAR 23.1 and contains an update to Forms 4 and 5. Additionally, this release contains support for exhibit 19 for Forms 10-K and 10-KT, as well as changes to NPORT, 13F, X-17A, and inline XBRL.

New Release (5.18a) for the GoFiler Family of Products

GoFiler Complete 5.18a
General EDGAR Updates
– Updated to EDGAR 23.1.
– Filings that use the 2023 taxonomies are now accepted by EDGAR.
– Added Exhibit 19 as an acceptable exhibit for Forms 10-K, 10-K/A, 10-KT, and 10-KT/A.
Section 16 Updates
– Added Rule 10b5-1(c) Transaction Indication check box to forms 4, 4/A, 5, and 5/A.
N-PORT Updates
– Corrected an issue that was causing improper validation of the Tenor Frequency and Reset Frequency fields.
– Changed the validation for all currency fields to verify whether the field allows “N/A” as an acceptable value.
Form 13F Updates
– Removed the warning about value changing to dollar precision.
– Added the “Retrieve...” button to the Filer Information area for faster library access.
Form 144 Updates
– On EDGAR, Forms 144 and 144/A were added to the submission types that can be submitted, accepted, and disseminated until 10:00P.M. Eastern time. Note that this is not a software change but rather an EDGAR change filers may wish to be aware of.
Form X-17A Updates
– Corrected missing items from the Type of Registrant options.
– Added additional file number for security-based swap entities when using confirming paper copy.
– Corrected the list of document types to only have FULL to match EDGARLink Online.
XDX
– Corrected an issue that would prevent details narrative presentations from being created for IFRS filings.
iXBRL
– Added test for all CIKs matching the “EntityCentralIndexKey” fact.
– Improved the logic for testing reporting duplicate data type definitions within the taxonomy.
– Corrected a problem with 'EffectiveOnDate486b' and 'EffectiveOnSetDate486b' which are required as a pair of facts.
– Added more dimension testing for type axes and required fact concepts.
