The SEC’s Office of the Chief Accountant has announced that it will hold an open meeting to discuss whether to approve the new quality control standard, QC 1000:
A Firm’s System of Quality Control, which was originally proposed in November 2022. The SEC will also consider adopting related amendments, as adopted by the the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
