Chapter Six — File Functions (continued)
Overview
The IsPath function tests if a string contains path connector characters (slash and backslash).
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
boolean = IsPath ( string path );
Parameters
path
A string containing a full or partial path with optional filename.
Return Value
Returns TRUE if path contains at least one path connector character or FALSE if it does not.
Remarks
The IsPath routine does not check the validity of the path or that the path is syntactically correct. If the path is not properly qualified, the return value will be FALSE. Use the DoesPathExist function to determine if the specified path exists in the file system.
