Chapter Eighteen — DataView Integration (continued)
Overview
The DataViewGetRowHeight function returns the height of a row either as displayed pixels or requested measurement.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
dword = DataViewGetRowHeight ( handle object, int index, [boolean display] );
Parameters
object
A handle to either a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
index
An int specifying a zero-based row index.
display
An optional boolean value. When TRUE the display height in pixels is returned. The default is FALSE, which returns a pvalue.
Return Value
Returns a dword containing the height of the row as a pvalue or in pixels or 0 on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
The row height can be zero if the row is hidden or collapsed. See Section 11.1 for a discussion of pvalues. Because 0 can be a valid return value or an error, the GetLastError function must be used to detect if the function failed.
