Overview
The SetCursorPosition function sets the cursor (mouse) position on the screen.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = SetCursorPosition ( handle hWindow, int x, int y );
Parameters
hWindow
An optional window handle that when specified the x and y position are relative to the client area of the specified window.
x
An int specifying the X position in screen or client coordinates.
y
An int specifying the Y position in screen or client coordinates.
Return Value
An int as ERROR_NONE for a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
The cursor position is always specified in screen or client coordinates and is not affected by the mapping mode of the window that contains the cursor.
The calling process must have WINSTA_READATTRIBUTES access to the window station and the input desktop must be the current desktop. See MSDN for further details.
