Chapter Eleven — SGML Functions (continued)
Overview
The SGMLFloatToValue function converts a float into a pvalue as specified units.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
PVALUE = SGMLFloatToValue ( float value, [PVALUE units] );
Parameters
value
An float specifying the value. It will be multiplied to whole units and truncated as required.
units
An optional PVALUE (dword) specifying the units. The value of the pvalue will be automatically removed so one pvalue can be used to specify the units of another without any additional math operations. The default value is PT_INT.
Return Value
A PVALUE (dword) containing the pvalue as a decimal adjusted value (multiplied by 100 or 10000 as required) and combined with the units.
