Chapter Nine — Dialog Functions (continued)
DataControlResetContent Function
Overview
The DataControlResetContent function resets the content of the Data Control.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataControlResetContent ( int id, [boolean labels] );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of the data control.
labels
An optional boolean flag. If TRUE or not zero, the legends will be reset and removed and columns reset to 1. The default value is FALSE.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure, ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog, or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
If the labels flag is FALSE, the number of columns will not be reset. This is an important note if the control will be reused with data sets with differing numbers of columns.
The DataControlResetContent function also resets the select position.
This function is similar to the ListBoxReset.
