Chapter Eight — Data Functions (continued)
Overview
The WorkbookGetInfoTable function returns a string table of all the information table entries in a workbook.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string [][] = WorkbookGetInfoTable ( handle hWorkbook );
Parameters
hWorkbook
A handle to a Workbook Object.
Return Value
Returns a string table or an empty array on failure. Use the GetLastError and GetLastErrorMessage to retrieve additional information.
Remarks
The table is returned as two columns, “name” and “data” or 0 and 1 respectively. Each row is a Information Table entry.
Some names are reserved as specified in in Appendix B — XML Data Sheet Format Specification of the SDK.
Each sheet will have a reserved keyword for the sheet name which is duplicated in the sheet declaration.
