Overview
The Power function raises a base value by an exponent.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
float = Power ( float base, float exponent );
Parameters
data
A float as a base value.
exponent
A float as an exponent value.
Return Value
Returns a float containing data raised to the power of exponent. If the magnitude of the result is too large to be represented by a value of the return type, the function returns #INF and the GetLastError function will return ERROR_OVERFLOW.
Remarks
The Power function does not recognize integral floating-point values greater than 264 (for example, 1.0E100).
