Overview
The IsFile function tests to see if a file specified by a string containing a path and name exists.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
boolean = IsFile ( string filename );
Parameters
filename
A string containing a fully qualified filename and path. This parameter supports UTF encoding for filenames with Unicode characters.
Return Value
Returns TRUE if file contains a file that exists or FALSE if it does not. The GetLastError function may contain more information if the function returns FALSE. Error codes match Windows system error codes, see Appendix A — Legato SDK Standard Definitions or MSDN.
Remarks
This function runs on Windows and on the VFC only. A URI scheme cannot be used in the specified the filename.
