Chapter Five — General Functions (continued)
Overview
The GetScriptMapFilename function returns the filename associated with the current line within the complete program map being executed.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = GetScriptMapFilename ( );
Parameters
(none)
Return Value
Returns a string containing the filename. This string can be empty if the script is untitled.
Remarks
This function differs from the GetScriptFilename function in that the former gets the name of the script file that was executed to start the script whereas the GetScriptMapFilename returns the actual name of the file from which the current source code came. When includes are used, this function will indicate the source file name included at the position it is executed.
This can be useful for retrieving the current execution position for logs and other functionalities.
